We rented a 125cc scooter for five days. Everything went smoothly, quickly, and easily. Unfortunately, I fell once while starting off and caused some minor damage. No problem, I was happy to pay for the damage in a reasonable manner, as I am ultimately responsible. However, I disagree with the final damage bill. They are charging me for replacing parts that I'm quite certain will never be replaced. Additionally, they charged me 200 baht for delivery, which never took place. We picked up and returned the scooter ourselves on foot. All in all, I feel cheated and ripped off at the end of the rental period. There's no way this repair is worth 1300 baht. See attached photos. The scooter itself was in good condition and didn't let us down. The staff is reserved and seems very bored and not very friendly.

The worst rental experience we’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I rented a motorbike that they claimed was brand-new — but the moment we left, we realized something was seriously wrong. The exhaust was missing screws, the suspension was banging nonstop, and the entire bike felt unsafe to ride. It was a 300cc bike, yet it struggled even on normal roads. The worst moment was when we went up to Roof Samui. The bike couldn’t handle the incline at all, and my boyfriend had to leave me on the hill so he could push the bike up. I had to walk the rest of the way on foot because the motorbike simply couldn’t make it. Completely unacceptable. When we returned to explain what happened, they were sarcastic, rude, and mocking us instead of taking responsibility. No apology, no help — nothing. Do NOT trust the good reviews. The moment you walk into the shop, you can understand that something is wrong. This place is full of scammers renting out unsafe motorbikes. Absolutely the worst experience — avoid at all costs

Hello, I would like to express my complete dissatisfaction with the experience of renting three motorbikes from your shop. From the very first day, we faced serious and dangerous problems: 1. On my motorbike, the screws on the exhaust were missing, causing the exhaust to constantly bounce up and down during every ride. Besides being extremely annoying, it was also very unsafe. 2. My friend’s motorbike had a dead battery, which you fixed once, but the very next day it failed again and left him stranded in the middle of the road. This clearly shows a lack of proper maintenance and technical inspection. 3. The third motorbike was missing a screw from the axle, which caused my friend to slip and fall. This is not just negligence — it is a serious safety issue and could have resulted in a much worse accident. Additionally, your overall behavior was disappointing. You did not respond promptly, you did not show willingness to help, and you insisted that the motorbikes were “new”, while in reality they were in terrible and dangerous condition. Such an experience is unacceptable, especially when dealing with vehicles used by tourists who rely on your professionalism and reliability. I hope you take our feedback seriously so that no one else has to go through a similar situation.

We rented 2x bikes for 4 days. The owner was a kind man and incredibly helpful. We forgot to turn the lights off on one bike which resulted in the bike battery draining at 7pm on a Sunday. They came out and replaced the battery within 1hr and charged us only the cost the battery and not the time to replace. I would highly recommend this place. Professional and good quality bikes.

We had an excellent experience with HL Rent Cars & Bikes in Koh Samui. Their service was outstanding - responsive via WhatsApp, punctual in delivering the scooter to our hotel, and thoughtful in including 2 helmets and 2 raincoats. I needed a larger helmet but they resolved the issue quickly and without any hassle. The rental process was straightforward, with a fair deposit of 3,000 baht and competitive pricing for the scooter. Overall, we were very pleased with the service and would highly recommend HL Rent to anyone visiting Samui!

The best rental place and experience I had in Thailand. Brand new, well maintained motorcycles. I had a brand new 300cc Yamaha Zeus with LED headlights. Great service, free helmet choice, very good prices! I would 100% recommend.

Rent a bike for a month at this place ☺️ It was very important for me to get wheels in technically good condition, since I drove with child… their bikes has new tires 🛞, brake system worked perfect, clean and safe ! Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
