Had an awesome experience renting bikes from Samui Cycle Hire. Quality bikes, excellent comms, timely delivery. Great that the bikes come with helmets, lights and locks. Great way to get around the island. Highly recommend and will hire again!

The best place to rent a Mountain Bike in the Lamai area. Ong helped me select a bike for a very reasonable price for a 24-hour hire. I took on the challenge of cycling anti-clockwise around the island so wanted to use my own SPD pedals, which she fitted no problem. I can help with the route if anyone needs advice for this coastal loop, as there were a few places I went off the main road.

If you come to Samui and you are looking for an honest, very service oriented bike rental shop this is the place you wanna go to. The shop offers both motorbike, bicycle and mountain bike rental for very reasonable prices. If you rent for a longer period or just more than 1 bike it’s often possible to get it delivered at your hotel but ask the owner for the options compared to your needs. The shop also sells flips flops and nice sandals even in big sizes. Full English speaking owners and also very welcoming attitude. Don’t take a risk and rent from a small local shop. Go here instead. The bikes are in super good conditions as they are serviced on a regular basis to ensure the quality of your rental experience will be to full satisfaction.. I have been coming here for many years and I would never consider going anywhere else. Just read the other reviews and you will only find 100% satisfied customers like myself. The flip flop section in the shop is also the biggest in Lamai so you can be sure to find a colorway that suits you. My best recommendations is hereby given

I rented a scooter here for about a week and had the best experience ever. The owners were super nice and helpful and every time I had a question and stopped by, they did everything to assist me. I can wholeheartedly recommend Samui Cycle Hire for when you need a scooter to explore Koh Samui. A tip, if you don't already know this, is to let the brakes rest for a while when going downhill as they can overheat and suddenly lose all braking capabilities. This happened to us and was quite scary. This is a tip applicable to all motor vehicles and has nothing to do with the rented scooter. If the brakes overheat, try to stop as quick as possible and let them rest for around 30 minutes, after that they work again. So keep this in mind and have fun!

Great bike & great way to explore the island while getting some exercise in. Drop off / pick up bicycle to your hotel. Had a blast exploring the north shore. Traffic not too bad- just take your time & be alert- main road is in pretty good condition. A few tougher hills here & there but doable. Moderate (not easy, not difficult). For experienced riders in shape- can circle the island in 4-5 hours "ride time". 6-8 hrs with breaks, etc. Didn't rain & mostly cloudy (not too much sun) so pretty good conditions for riding.
