The rental agent was very friendly and helpful. We don’t like leaving our passport as a deposit (which is often recommended), and here you can simply show your driver’s license instead, perfect! A deposit is required, but you can pay it in Euros or USD, just slightly above the exchange rate. That way, you can spend your Baht and take your home currency back with you, smart and convenient. The agent also clearly pointed out that all existing damages should be noted before driving, very honest and professional! Returning the scooter was easy and without any issues. Since our hotel was right across the street, we were even allowed to park there, very practical. Highly recommended!

we hired a Honda 150 scooter for 4 days from the Cheong Mon office next to Sala Samui resort. the young man was polite and helpful and explained everything we needed to know- the scooter was well priced, well maintained and it was a pretty new model. they provided 2 helmets free of charge. we’ve visited Koh Samui 5 times but it’s so much more fun when you have a scooter.
