Tourist scam warning — avoid this place. We rented a motorbike here and recorded a video at the time of pickup. In the video, the shop employee spins the rear wheel while pressing the throttle. When we returned the bike, they claimed there was a “nail in the tire” and tried to charge us 2,000 THB. They also threatened to hold our passport if we didn’t pay. We called the police, showed our video and evidence, and the police confirmed that we were not responsible. Only then did the shop change their story and even lied to the police about the amount they demanded. We did not pay anything because the claim was false. This appears to be a repeated scheme to take money from tourists. Always record a full video when renting a bike in Koh Samui and do not hand over your passport to any rental shop. I strongly advise others to stay away from this business.

Ils nous ont demandé de laisser un passeport nous avons préférer laisser un dépôt mais ils nous ont mit la pression pour le passeport en nous demandant une caution exorbitante et quand nous avons refusé ils nous ont mit dehors et menacé de ne pas revenir
